Daniel Nolan is the co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Prism Layer. He has spent nearly fifteen years building the frameworks and platforms that modern enterprise risk runs on, helping Fortune 500 institutions and high-growth fintechs make faster, smarter decisions.
His early career at Citi and Westpac grounded him in large-scale governance, control environments, and major regulatory and operational transformations across Ireland, Australia, the EU, and Asia-Pacific. At the Asset Management Exchange, he helped design the risk and operating foundations of a technology-led investment platform that grew to $60 billion in assets and was later acquired by Carne Group, taking a high-growth platform through scale and acquisition firsthand.
At Remitly, he supported global expansion and the company’s preparation for public-company standards, spanning licensing, resilience, and operational risk, and embedded risk thinking into product and engineering teams. At Block, he became one of the architects of the company’s next-generation enterprise risk strategy, building the frameworks, data flows, and tooling behind its risk intelligence systems.
He is the architect of the Prism Layer platform, leading its development and deployment to give risk teams real-time, reasoning-led insight: a governed assessment connecting your methodology, your evidence, expert review, and a defensible decision record.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from University College Cork and an Executive Certificate in Risk Management from Imperial College.
